Robert began drawing and painting at the age 12, and knew from that early point that being an artist was his goal in life. He graduated from Arizona State University in 1976 with a B.F.A. in Printmaking, specializing in relief and intaglio. Working for several large commercial art companies helped Robert gain the knowledge to start and run several much smaller companies of his own, CHAPMAN FINE ART being the latest and most satisfying.
